Motorcycle Safety

Realistic vehicles move through traffic, reacting naturally to motorcyclists to show just how vulnerable they are on the road. Focused on motorcycle safety, the project calls for greater awareness and respect from every driver.

Creating Danger Without the Risk

For this important road safety campaign, we teamed up with director Joshua Lamont to bring a powerful message to screen – highlighting the vulnerability of motorcyclists on Tasmanian roads.

Blending Reality and VFX

Josh captured beautifully cinematic footage of a rider travelling through iconic Tasmanian locations. Our role was to introduce realistic-looking vehicles into those scenes – cars and trucks that appear at the last second as if they’re about to collide, only to dissolve and vanish just before impact. It’s a visual metaphor, designed to jolt the viewer without ever needing to stage a real crash

The Art of Convincing Illusion

The biggest technical hurdle was accuracy. Our CG vehicles had to sit perfectly in the filmed footage – tracking the road plates, camera movement, and lighting conditions to a tee. Every detail mattered: wheel rotation, indicator lights blinking in sync, suspension giving subtle bounces over uneven roads. All of it had to feel grounded in the real world.

Subtle, Sharp, and Purposeful

This was about restraint as much as spectacle. The VFX couldn’t shout – they had to seamlessly blend in and serve the emotional punch of the message. With precise tracking and careful animation, we helped bring that vision to life.
